- Coordinate the formulation, implementation and evaluation of gender mainstreaming policy.
- Provide technical advice gender mainstreaming, to the Permanent Secretary.
- Initiate and manage the review of gender workplace policies and procedures.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders to entrench gender mainstreaming, in the Ministry.
- Coordinate the implementation of policies and programmes on the welfare of persons with disabilities in the Ministry.
- Ensure that facilities in the Ministry are accessible to persons with disabilities.
- Manage capacity building programmes to enhance understanding of gender mainstreaming within the Ministry.
- Design and implement inclusive programmes to improve the physical and mental health of staff in the Ministry.
